Regeneration from the bottom up

Bioregions Exchange

Learning from different bioregions and projects have led to amazing co-creations on local regenerative indicators and a self-referenced evaluation platform. Recognizing the need we have for filtered water and soil fertility, we act to thank the incredible planet we are on.

The collective practice of bringing vitality

A bioregion invites us to inhabit a place in a way that is full of relationship. Seeing where the natural boundaries of our bioregion are, we can then see the many eco-systems and human systems alive within it. All of these systems like fresh water and biodiversity or transport and health are connected. There is also a connecting story that starts in deep geological time, shows up in the landscape and soil and then in human culture. Bioregioning is the collective practice of bringing vitality to these connections, angling the systems towards regeneration, and taking actions for a climate resilient and biodiverse future.

How to regenerate.

How to regenerate.

1

Be Nature.

To be authentic from the deepness of your being will bring the nutrients to have healthier lives and relationships. Allow inner evolution. Let Life flow through your being and act from your heart. From you to your body to your relationships to your house and close environment.

2

Follow Nature.

Learning from Nature how to actually restore regeneration capabilities is to apply Life’s Principles to social systems, is to apply indigenous knowledge to soil fertility restoration, is to apply well known techniques on agroforestry and silvopasture animal raising for food production, is to bring back biodiversity everywhere and in huge amounts, is to capture carbon in the soil.

3

Create bioregions.

We naturally expand our vitality towards our territories and include others in a way all reconnect with Life. We restore watersheds by understanding we are interdependent. We bring back biodiversity as we enter Earth’s rhythm and cycles. We regenerate economies that nourish the wellbeing of all in a Radical Collaboration perspective.

4

Cross pollinate.

We are open to flows of information and resources. We are part of the circle of humanity as regenerators, funders, campesinos, leaders. We allow the emergence of specific indicators and regenerative development in local ways. We foster communication with other networks to align the common goal of regenerating planet Earth.

The RCN is a global collaborative of bioregionals networks

We are individuals and organizations who share a commitment to place-based initiatives for environmental, social, and economic regeneration. We cultivate relationships and direct resources and information towards initiatives that enhance the health and wellbeing of participating bioregions.
